Heritage Gallery - Not For Sale

The Heritage Collection Gallery lies at the heart of the Andreou family legacy. It brings together exceptional opals preserved by the family over decades—foundational pieces that are inseparable from the story of Art of Opal™ and remain permanently within the family collection.

Each opal is presented alongside an original painting and housed in a handcrafted Italian wooden showcase. Engraved brass plates record the opal’s unique reference number and title, together with the AO insignia, creating a permanent record of each work and its place within the collection.

Accompanied by historical documentation and certifications, these works preserve the provenance, artistry and history of opals that have shaped the Andreou family’s creative journey.

While the original Heritage opals remain with the family and are not offered for sale, selected photographic interpretations allow their remarkable colour, character and natural form to be experienced beyond the private collection.

The Heritage Collection exists to preserve this artistic and cultural legacy for future generations and to safeguard an essential part of the Art of Opal™ story.
